WHO WE ARE
Our History

The Wyoming Council on Problem Gambling was established in July 2005. The council was organized to disseminate and provide information to the public about problem gambling as an illness and public health concern. The Wyoming Council on Problem Gambling became a 501(c) (3) on November 23, 2015, and became the 35th Affiliate of the National Conference on Problem Gambling in July 2018. Wyoming Council on Problem Gambling (WCPG) receives no federal or dedicated state-level funding. We rely on funding from individuals, WCPG individual members, and donors to advance our mission.

KEY INITIATIVES

Wyoming Council on Problem Gambling seeks to engage the medical profession, educators, mental health professionals, law enforcement, policymakers, business owners, and other interested stakeholders in understand local and national impacts concerning problem gambling. WCPG strives to offer community and statewide services such as training, digital media, and referrals whenever possible for those with a gambling concern and their families.
