Through a partnership with Kindbridge Behavioral Health – an online therapy provider that connects individuals and families to licensed counselors, coaches, and support groups from the comfort of their homes – the Wyoming Council on Problem Gambling proudly offers free, confidential online therapy to help you overcome problem gambling issues.

Kindbridge specializes in providing therapy and treatment for behavioral addictions, including gambling disorder, as well as grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression.

The International Problem Gambling and Gaming Certification Organization (IPGGC) offers the Collegiate Counselors Gambling Certificate (CCGC), specifically designed to give college counselors the essential knowledge and resources to address growing concerns of problem gambling on campuses.

  • How to find and utilize relevant resources beyond campus for students and/or their families.

Recover Wyoming Gambling Peer Support Program

The Gambling Peer Support Program offers free and confidential support for anyone struggling with problematic gambling. Participants can connect with Certified Peer Specialists and talk with someone who understands the recovery journey.

Support is available statewide by telephone, with in-person supportive services available in Laramie County. This is another valuable Wyoming resource for individuals seeking encouragement, connection, and help taking the next step forward.

Group Sessions

Feeling alone or isolated is a common feeling among people impacted by problem gambling. Knowing that others have similar financial struggles can reduce feelings of isolation and shame.

We provide group financial counseling to individuals and families at no charge, providing solutions and a path forward to those affected by gambling loss. All group financial counseling sessions are led by a GamFin financial counselor.

Family & Friends of Gamblers (FFOG)

Family & Friends of Gamblers (FFOG) exists to give families and friends impacted by gambling addiction a collective voice. FFOG is building a national advocacy movement that empowers family members and friends impacted by gambling addiction to speak out, organize, and drive reform.
